Sometimes, the bit of skin at the end of a boy’s willy traps germs and other nasties. This can cause pain and discomfort.
We have operations which can make take off the bit of skin, or make the hole at its end a bit bigger. This helps keep everything healthier and working better.
You’ll only need to come into hospital for the day, where you’ll be given special medicine to sleep while the doctor fixes you.
For a few weeks after the operation, resting in baggy trousers will be a good idea – but soon you’ll be all better again and ready to go back to school.
Your parents and the doctor will keep an eye on things, and you might have a few tablets to take, but you’ll be fine.
